Flashback Friday – 1982

I am a product of the 80’s and thought I would share some of my favorites from 1982. I guess I’m kinda carbon dating myself here.

Book: I didn’t read this until I was much older. But having to pick a book released in 1092, this is by far my favorite.

Movie: E.T. is perhaps my favoritist (I know it’s not a word) movie ever. And this scene made me cry way back then and makes me cry even now. 😭😭

Song: And don’t lie. Tell me how many of you dialed 867-5309 in hopes of talking to Jenny.

TV Show: This is when I knew I wanted a Trans-Am and when I fell in love for the first time. And no it wasn’t with David Hasselhoff’s character, Michael Knight. It was with KITT. Yep loved me some KITT.

    • Indeed. Actually, David Hasselhoff was the least talented actor cast. My sister graduated from high school the same year. I was just entering 6th grade. Perhaps the best time of my life. Not a real care in the world.

By the way, how was your trip to Colorado? Sadly, I’ll be moving back to Maryland at the end of the month. 😔

      • I had a great trip out there. Our hostess had something planned every minute of everyday, but that worked fine. I was there four days and we were in the mountains three of them and Boulder the other. I put up two photo-posts if you want to see.

Colorado is such a beautiful state. Sorry you are leaving. The DC area has a lot to offer, though maybe a little hot and steamy during the summer for me. Despite maybe not being the best of circumstances, I hope you have a good, issue free move.
