The Friday 56 – American Street by Ibi Zoboi

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted over at Freda’s Voice. The rules are simple and go something like this.

Friday 561.  Grab a book, any book.

Bout of Books Read-a-thon

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe it’s time for Bout of Books 20. I participated for the first time in May and wasn’t as successful as I wanted to be, but that’s behind me now.

Without further adieu, the breakdown. . . Continue reading

I came out of the gate a little slow and I’m pretty sure that I will not be able to read all the books I planned, but my reading energy has been renewed and I think I can keep the momentum going.  Continue reading
