I’d tell you that I’m glad 2017 is over. It was a rough year. 2018 has started off a little rocky, but I think things will settle down shortly.
Let’s see there are quite a few things going on in my personal life, but the two things I’m most excited about are: I resumed my flute lessons and an upcoming opportunity at work.

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe it’s time for Bout of Books 20. I participated for the first time in May and wasn’t as successful as I wanted to be, but that’s behind me now.

Hooray!🎉 I mean Awww 😔Bout of Books 19 is over. This was my first time participating and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, connected with some really cool bloggers and got more reading suggestions.
I didn’t get all the books read, but some are better than none, right? And it’s so satisfying to get a few of the books on my TBR list read.
